El Paso-
Ruth I. Baker, 86, of El Paso, IL passed away at
5:13 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Heritage Health in El
Paso.
She was born on February 1, 1925 in
Kappa, IL a daughter of Charles and Loretta "Kitty" Bowman
Smith.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda
(John) Childers; Cindy (Jon) Grimsley both of El Paso, IL; four
grandchildren, Andy (Sandy) Pinkham; Todd (Susie) Pinkham; Adam
(Lindsay) Porth; Matt Grimsley; three great grandsons; two great
granddaughters; one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by
parents, twin sons in infancy, three sisters and one brother.
She worked as a LPN at Tegard
Nursing Home in El Paso.
Ruth loved to play cards, dance and
shop garage sales.
She will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral
Home in El Paso. Rev. Dr. Tim Smith will officiate. Visitation will
be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5-7p.m. at Ruestman-Harris
Funeral Home in El Paso. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El
Paso.
