Romaine J. Winchester
Hudson-
Romaine J. Winchester, 83, of Hudson, IL passed away at
3:15a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at OSF St. Joseph Medical
Center in Bloomington.
She was born on March 7, 1928 in Jamestown, New York a daughter
of Fridolph and Nellie Carlson Johnson. She married Dick Winchester
on August 25, 1951. He passed away in January 2005.
Survivors include one daughter, Rev. Kathryn(Rev. John) Tymonko
of Hudson, IL; one brother, Maurice (Mary) Johnson of Maryland; two
grandchildren, Steven(Beth) Tymonko, Cheryl Tymonko (George
Greiner).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She worked at Welch Foods in Westfield, New York and GTE in
Warren, Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Faith- West Olive United Methodist Church in
Bloomington. She was the president of Ali Bahr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from
4-6p.m. at Hudson United Methodist Church. Graveside burial of
ashes will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Jamestown, New York
at a later date. Cremation will be accorded. Ruestman-Harris
Funeral Home in El Paso is handling arrangements.
