To Oma,Tod and Larl, Please accept my heartfelt and sincere condolences with the passing of Ned. Knowing Ned and accumulating almost 50 years of memories saddens me more than I could ever tell you. Ned's personality was one that you couldn't help but become his friend. His smile was infectious and there wasn't a time you weren't greeted with one. I can't tell you how many times I've thought about Ned along with all of our Grandview gang and the fun we all had growing up together. It was such a special time in our lives and I truly loved Ned like a Brother and he will be sorely missed by all of us. The good Lord willing, we will all be together again someday. As painfull that it is to have lost Ned, just knowing that God has wrapped his arms him and taken him back home is comforting. In time the saddness will subside and you'll have all the wonderful memories to cherish. God Bless to you all. Mike & Allison Demanes

To all of Ned's family, What a good friend I've lost, we've all lost really. As I said earlier today, "Ned it's been years since we spoke, but I miss you already". I wish I'd been a better friend at a time like this, but Ned would know, he does know. The Larke home was always a safe haven growing up! We shared so many experiences...together, friends, girlfriends, parties, good times all. "I think he was the first person to get me on a motorcycle" and I haven't stopped riding since! I will miss him Greatly!

I am so sorry for all of Ned's familys' loss. We were friends long ago, and he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Unfortunately, I have always believed that the good go young. He was one of the best!! I hope his kids can find comfort in the fact that heaven has just gained a great new angel. I hope that the pain in your heart will heal soon, with time.

I found this prayer and thought of Ned. He was certianly one of a kind. Adios My Friend. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

I received the news that Ned had passed with great saddness. Our chance meetings, over the years, were far too few. At the ten year HS reunion picnic I got the chance to thank him for a gift years ago. When we were kids Ned showed me fossil and arrow head hunting and the ins and outs of roamimg our woods. It was just a couple of years when we were 7 or 8, but these are some of my best memories. It was dirt clod fights, seining minnows or exploring the caves. Mrs. Larke, Larl, Tod and Neds kids, you are in our prayers. I'll have to hike the creek soon. I know you will be there, Ned, just around the bend .
