Pekin-Marilyn J. Berg, 62, of
Pekin, formerly of El Paso, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Monday, July
9, 2012 at her residence. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday,
July 13, 2012 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso with Rev.
Wes Ooms officiating. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. prior to
the services at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Joseph
Cemetery in El Paso. Memorials may be made to a organization of the
donor's choice.
Marilyn was born on March 21, 1950
to John E. and Roma M. (Gall) Berg.
Surviving is one brother, Walter J.
Berg of El Paso; one sister, Marcella Frigo of Joliet; one aunt,
Pauline Benedict of El Paso; one niece, Sarah (Marty) Pavlik of
Homer Glen, IL and one nephew, Vincent Hendrickson of Chicago..
She was preceded in death by her
parents.
Marilyn graduated from El Paso High
School in 1968 and later from Illinois State University with
honors.
