Marguerite O'Connor
Eureka- Marguerite O'Connor, 84, of St. Charles, IL formerly of
Eureka, IL passed away at 5:55 am on Friday, June 29, 2012 at
Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL.
She was born on April 20, 1928 in Washburn, IL a daughter of
Alvin and Beulah Meents Ulrich. She married George Marich on
January 1953. He passed away in December 1953. She then married
Robert O'Connor on August 10, 1958 in Granite City, IL. He passed
away on July 2, 2011.
Surviving are one son, George M. Marich of Forest Park, IL; one
daughter, Patricia A. (Donald) Mitroff of Itasca, IL; three
grandchildren, Donald R. (Kim); Kelly A.; Michael A. Mitroff; and
one sister, Judy (Ken) Doren of Bradenton, FL.
Marguerite worked as a bookkeeper for a car dealership while
living in Eureka. She later worked as a bookkeeper for the Family
Shopper Newspaper in Hillside, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 5,
2012 at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Rev. Tom
Zobrist will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am
before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Olio
Township Cemetery.
