Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

El Paso- Leona E. Scott 84, of El Paso passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Washington Christian Village, Washington.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. Rev. Dr. Tim Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Leona was born May 26, 1928 at Sebring,FL a daughter of Leslie and Frema Campbell. She married Cecil "Scotty" Scott on December 15, 1947 at Folkston,GA. He died March 8, 1991.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann (Larry) Primm, Glasford; three granddaughters, Sherri (Rod) Waters, Metamora, Kristi (Jim) Akers, Peoria, Dorie (Kevin) Nash, Mapleton; nine great grandchildren, Sarah and Alyssa Waters, Ben Fitch, Isaac and Ian Akers, Josh, Jeremiah, Hanna, Kelana Nash.

She was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Penny and a brother, Charles.

Leona was a member of First Baptist Church, El Paso, the El Paso American Legion Auxiliary and the Bucket Mouth CB Club.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church.
