James Eric Brown
Eureka- James "Eric" Brown, 40, of
Eureka, passed away at 8:25 am on Friday, February 3, 2012 in
Eureka.
He was born October 21, 1971 in
Peoria, IL a son of James and Patricia Alexander Brown. He married
Renee Taylor on May 19, 2007 in Pekin, IL.
Surviving is his wife, Renee Brown
and his step daughter, Albany Taylor both of Eureka; his daughter,
Eva Hierl of Germany; his parents, James and Patricia Brown of
Creve Coeur; one sister, Tricia (Damarvis) Dixon of Creve Coeur;
one nephew, Damarvis Dixon II of Creve Coeur; maternal grandmother,
Norma Alexander of Creve Coeur; his mother-in-law, Sherry Zimmerman
of Eureka; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his
maternal grandpa Floyd Alexander and his paternal grandmother,
Rachel Brown; and his father-in-law Arnold Taylor.
Eric was a die hard Cardinals fan.
He also like the Minnesota Vikings, Indy Car Racing, and Star
Wars.
He worked for Parsons Company for
nearly five years as a painter.
Eric was a loving husband, dad, son,
brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at
2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris
Funeral Home in Eureka. Visitation will be held two hours prior to
the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at
Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. The family requests casual
attire.
