Harold J. Maubach
Henry- Harold J. Maubach, 95, of El Paso, IL formerly of Henry,
IL passed away at 7:07 pm on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Heritage
Health Care in El Paso, IL.
He was born on June 21, 1916 in Henry, IL a son of John Andrew
and Magdalena M. Dilzer Maubach. He married Theresa Mattern on
January 13, 1962 in Henry, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Angie Maubach of Minonk, IL;
Bonnie (Roger) Funk of El Paso, IL; four grandchildren, Joseph,
Madison, Jacob, and Jonah Harold Funk; two brothers, Glen Maubach
of Blackstone; Robert (Ursula) Maubach of Henry; five sisters,
Virginia Winterowd, Jeannette Carbone, and Lamberta (Dale) Beckman
all of Streator; Jean Donze of Long Point; Norma Rogers of Goshen,
IN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, two
sisters, and two sets of infant twins.
Harold worked as a farmer in the Henry area all of his life and
belonged to the Illinois Farm Bureau.
He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henry where
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday,
January 3, 2012. Fr. Tom Mizeur will officiate. Visitation will be
held at the church on Monday evening from 4-7 pm and one hour
before the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery in Henry, IL. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El
Paso is assisting the family with their arrangements.
