Hi Vanessa, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I met him only a few times and I know he was your world. We came to your house 1 year for an ER Christmas party. Who'd have thought that 8 years later your son and my daughter (Kelly) would be swimming against each other? Our thoughts and prayers are with you while you go through this challenging time in your life. I watched the video and there are a few pictures in there that his face is what I remember. The pictures where his beard was dark with gray on the sides. That is the memory I have of him. I saw you at the El Paso swim meet, but wished I would have stopped to visit with you. I hope that he did not suffer too much. You and your family are in our prayers. Sally, Steve, Chad, Michelle, Ryan and Kelly

Dear Vanessa and family, I send you my deepest sympathy. We have never met, but I am Davids cousin originally from Arkansas. I moved to Texas and had not seen David for over 20 years. I was searching for him online and was shocked to come across his obituary. David was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. I find great comfort in knowing he had a loving wife and children. My prayers are with you and your children. Brenda (Wendy) Wofford-Meyer
