Gilden T. McClom
Bloomington- Gilden T. McClom, 54, of Bloomington passed away on
Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 4 pm in Normal, IL. Funeral services will
be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist
Church in Bloomington with Pastor William L. Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be held 9-11a.m. prior to the services at the
church on Friday. Entombment will be at Restvale Cemetery in Alsip,
IL on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to his family in Gilden's name. The family of Gilden has
entrusted the care of their loved one to Kibler-Brady-Ruestman
Memorial Home in Bloomington.
Gilden was born in Chicago, IL on January 8, 1958 to the union
of Mack and Lovie (Shephard) McClom. He married Michelle Walls on
May 19, 2012 in Bloomington, she survives.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Michelle of
Bloomington; two stepsons, Nickhiyus and Zayon; his mother, Lovie
Mitchell of Chicago; three brothers, Mark McClom, Michael McClom,
Otis McClom all of Chicago; Ex-klu-syv Rydaz and a host of friends
and relatives.
Gilden was preceded in death by his father Mack and one brother,
Mack McClom, Jr.
Gilden was a member of the Loving Missionary Baptist Church,
Labor Hall Local #362, Central Point and Ex-klu-syv Motorcycle
Club, where he was given the name G-Fizzle.
Gilden loved helping his friends and loved ones with no problem.
He was known for his smile, energy and big heart. He will be
greatly missed by everyone.
He loved his stepchildren with all his heart, to him they were
not stepchildren they were his children. He enjoyed doing
activities with them. His loyalty lays with his family and close
friends.
