Ethel A. Letsinger

Ethel A. Letsinger 98, of El Paso, died at 12:34 am at Heritage Health in El Paso on Monday, February 13, 2012. Funeral services will be held at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso on Friday, February 17 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the funeral. Rev. Tim Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso.

 

Mrs. Letsinger was born June 19, 1913, rural Gridley, Illinois, the daughter of George and Rose North Foreman. She married Henry E. Rippel on Oct. 25, 1947. He died Dec. 1, 1961. On Sept. 30, 1966, she married Joseph M. Letsinger. He died Mar. 25, 1970.

 

She is survived by one brother in-law, Don Dalby of Mt. Vernon, IL; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, 1 brother, 2 nephews and 1 infant great nephew.

 

Mrs. Letsinger was a 1931 graduate of El Paso High School. She was employed as a Bookkeeper at Boyd Motor Co., El Paso and later by Secor Elevator Co., Secor. She was a long time member of El Paso First Baptist Church and a member of James Thompson Chapter 147, Order of Eastern Star, El Paso.

    Our grandmother taught us that if we couldn't say anything nice, then we shouldn't say anything at all. And thank you grandma for that advice, but in this instance, I just need to do this. Ethel was a very mean and evil woman. She was a conniving, money-grubbing witch. It is a sin that she still carried the Letsinger name to her grave...she dishonored it. Ding , Dong, The Witch is Dead!!! Face your God, Ethel, for all the evil you did to so many.
