Juanita Genre

Eureka- Ethel Juanita Genre, 98, of Eureka, IL passed away at 12:50 pm on Sunday January 22, 2012 at Maple Lawn Health Center in Eureka.

Born January 6, 1914 in Norwalk, IA to Sylvan and Mina Ory Boyer, she married Samuel Huber on December 1, 1934 in Eureka, IL. He died on February 27, 1989. She then married Duane Genre on March 10, 1990 in Eureka, IL. He died on October 21, 1996.

Surviving are three sons, Wally (Yvonne) Huber of Normal, IL; James (Maren) Huber of Downers Grove, IL; Roger Huber of Decatur, IL; three sisters, Laureen Shelle of Eureka; Barb (Maurice) Pifer of Eureka; Evelyn Maloney of Peoria; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one infant brother.

A homemaker, Juanita worked at State Farm for twelve years, working as a cook and also in the printing department.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Doug Hicks will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olio Cemetery.
