His family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m on Thursday September 28, 2006 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minok. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family. “J.J.” was born July 23, 1980 at TomsRiver,NJ a son of John G.Colavito Sr. and Geraldine Hamilton. Survivors include his mother and father, Geraldine “Geri” and Michael DeLancey, Minonk, his biological father, John G. Colavito Sr., Florida; fiancee’, Jessica Bailey, Pratt,KS, two daughters, Ashlynn Colavito, Pratt,KS and Katrina Metalski, Wenona; one son, Ryan Bailey, Pratt,KS; maternal grandfather, Robert Hamilton Sr., LaSalle, two sisters, Michelle (Howard) Hoge, Dana and Jamie Lynn (Russell) Hahn, Minonk; one brother, Joseph Colavito, Minonk; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a 1999 graduate of Fieldcrest High School. He served with the United States Marines and was employed by Trilobrite Oil Company in Hayes,KS. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmothers and paternal grandparents. He was a loving son, father, brother and friend and he will be missed by all.
