Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Loren W. Fillmore whom she married in 1936, and her son, Norman R. Fillmore.
Hazel was born on August 9, 1916. She lived a good full life on earth and has now entered into the presence of Almighty God through our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
Our mother was special to all of us and we will miss her greatly. The family would like to thank all of those who cared for her; the staff of doctors and nurses that attended her daily at Community Memorial Hospital; the Palliative Team (you were incredible), and Dr. Newton Friedman and his office.
And finally a special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Richardson and his office for always finding a way to see her when she was ill and the tenderness with which you always treated her; that meant so much to her and to us.
The kindness and respect that you all showed to our “Sweet little Mama” is appreciated beyond words. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kiblersmith.com.
