Mrs. Boian was my first-grade teacher in 1963-64. I loved her and have always remembered her even though we moved from Chenoa in 1965. She made a big impact on me, a shy little girl at the time. You have my sympathy during this time of loss.

She and Mom were such good friends, and Mom always enjoyed their phone conversations in the evenings. Danny, Sharon and families--I am so sorry to hear of Gen's passing. I did not hear about this until 9-19-11, as otherwise I would have been there to pay my respects. You all know how very much I loved Gen and would do whatever I could for her. She was a wonderful, wonderful lady and I will sure miss seeing her when I visit Meadows. Although we will all miss her terribly, I'm sure she is free of her pain and most importantly, is with Bill again. With love to all---Di
