Charles W. Peters Bloomington-Charles “Chuck” W. Peters, 64, of Bloomington passed away Friday January 7, 2011 at his residence. Charles was born August 30, 1946 in Peoria to Wallace and Alma (Pitch) Peters. He is survived by one daughter, Stacy Peters and one son, Ryan (Stephanie) Peters both of Bloomington; one grandson, Alex Peters of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his parents. He graduated from Peoria Central High School and later attended college at Bradley University in Peoria. He worked as a laborer in the union for many years, last working in the sporting goods department at Walmart. He ran the Kawasaki Motorcycle Shop in Bloomington for many years. Charles enjoyed sailing when he was younger. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday January 12, 2011 at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 a.m on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Kibler-Smith Memorial Home is handling arrangements.
