Betty Ann Wilkey Secor- Betty Ann Wilkey, 77, of Secor, IL passed away at 6:00 pm on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL. She was born on May 26, 1933 in Panola, IL a daughter of Edwin and Berdina Gertrude Hartman Remmert. She married James Robert Wilkey on November 18, 1951 in Secor, IL. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Robert James (Cathy) Wilkey; Randy Lee (Kathy) Wilkey both of Secor, IL; one daughter, Brenda Sue (Jim) Ely of Congerville, IL; four grandchildren, Amanda and Ian Wilkey; Sarah and Virginia Ely; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Remmert of El Paso, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Pete Remmert; and one infant sister. Betty was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Secor, IL. Rev. Scott Adle will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Secor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
